The instruction manual provided useful information and the unit was installed in minutes.
A modified "Penn State" deer fence was constructed, which has kept the deer and dog out of the garden area as well as a ground hog whose home is less than 30 feet from the fence.
June '09 had 28 days of rain with almost continuous overcast skies. After about 6 days, the unit's battery ran out, which required us to run out an extension cord to plug in a small wall transformer. After one day of clear skies, the transformed was not longer needed -- the unit's battery was again restored.
All in all, we've been pleased with our purchase.
